Discovery Youth
Our Discovery Youth (minus a few people) class took a trip to the Nathaniel Mission. At the mission, the poor, homeless, jobless, and insurance-less are provided with health-care, a place of worship, veterinary clinic, a place of worth, and something totally unexpected- ceramics. One way to give someone a sense of accomplishment and something beautiful to display in one's home is to create a piece of art personally. For a few bucks, bird baths, crosses, and many other items can be painted, fired, and glazed.
