The bedroom window is right behind where I'm taking this picture. Can you tell what happened overnight?
About 2:30 in the morning we were visited by a bear! He took his time in sampling everything in the dumpster.
This is the view right behind our cabin. You can see the chairs where you can sit, read, and watch the river go by. (This is the Big Thompon river.)
Just a view of the mountains from a trailhead where Martha and I stopped.
Another view in the same area.
Right outside the screened in porch of our cabins we had a humming bird feeder. This pic shows just one, but there were dozens and dozens that would visit during the day.
Martha, Poppi and I took a drive through Devil's Gulch. This was just a little pullout on the road where there was a little stream.
Same spot in Devil's Gulch.
Martha, Beth and I took a hike to Lumpy Ridge. This was somewhere along the trail.
A view along the Lumpy Ridge trail.
Martha among the strange rock formations.
Beth and Dan somwhere near Lumpy Ridge.
On the Lumpy Ridge trail but looking back towards the National Park.
This is a view of the Twin Owls. Can you see them?
On a steep trail to the base of Twin Owls. You can't see from this picture how steep the trail is, but at least Beth had great service here and could check her email!
On our way down, we stopped to take this picture to show we were really here.
Martha and Beth where the trail splits.
Meme, Poppi and Martha at Lilly Lake.
Meme and Poppi on the hike around Lilly Lake.
Halfway around the lake is a good place to stop, relax and enjoy the scenery.
Hey Poppi, how can there be this much information about a little lake?
Miller/Martin meal at the 'special' place in the National Park.
Poppi explaining to Martha the finer points of BBQ.
More of the BBQ meal.
Meme and Poppi relaxing after a great meal.
Martha, Beth and Raymond on the big rock.

Ho-hum, more stream pictures. Always better in person.
Meme, Poppi and Martha as we walked around another lake in the Park.
Far end of Sprague Lake taking a look back at Hallett and NotchTop peaks.
Same spot.
This is where Sprague Lake empties out to a little mountain stream. Martha and Poppi are on the bridge above.
A view from the top of Trail Ridge Road. This is looking west to the mountians in the Western Divide.
Picture of Beth, Poppi and Martha in the same spot.
Beth and Martha atop Trail Ridge. We had great weather. Not cold and no wind!
After hiking or driving to Trail Ridge, you can relax on your cabin porch.
Beth and Raymond at Bear Lake in the Park.
A view on the walk around Bear Lake.
Another view on Bear Lake.
You have to look closely, but the two brown dots near the center of the picture are Big Horn Sheep.
Martha, Beth, Raymond and Poppi trying to get as good as view as possible. This is as close as we could get. The guy on the right is a stranger.
