Building at Sanjūsangen-dō
Main building at Sanjūsangen-dō. Inside this building are 1000 unique (but similar) statues mostly of Kannon and other deities from the 12th and 13th Centuries. Unfortunately, they didn't allow photos inside.

Kiyomizu-dera is way up on the side of a mountain. Looking off into the woods, this pagoda sticks up rather definitively.

After trekking partway down the hill, you get more of a scale how far up Kiyomizu-dera is.

I can't remember the name of this one, but it sits smack dab next to a busy intersection.
