Happy Heart Day from Mike and Court!

Mike and Courtney had an amazing Valentine's day. We got smoothies and oatmeal, went for a hike/walk at Crystal Cove, then got dolled up and went to an awesome dinner at Cheesecake, Comedy Sportz, and and out for tea! It was an amazing day for these two love birds.

We saw U2! Seriously! It was amazing. Stephen, Mark, Jessica, Doug, Eleanor, AJ, Mike, and I had some lunch, drove up to Pasadena, hung out with Deborah, walked to the Rose Bowl, saw an incredible (I mean, absolutely mind blowing) show, then went to Conrad's for some grub, and made our way home in the wee hours of the morning.

Yosemite Trip

Mike, Courtney, Ryan, Jolene, Tony, and John-Michael take a short but sweet trip up to Yosemite National Park. We stayed in a sweet vacation cabin, took a monster hike, went swimming (kinda) in an Emerald Pool, and just had a really good time hanging out together. Yay nature and good friends.

Hawaii Day 7

After a chill morning, we went on a submarine ride to see fish and sea turtles! It was fun. Then we walked to a bomb sushi restaurant and up to Leonard's for malasadas. Finally we rounded the trip back to the Hawaiian villiage as fireworks went off by the beach and we had cocktails and listened to the waves and palm trees. What a great day.

Brian and Jen dropped us off at a trailhead in a neighborhood way up in the hills behind Honolulu. We hiked only a short while before we found ourself somewhere totally else. It was beautiful and so much fun.

Hawaii Day 4, A big day of adventure

After breakfast in our beautiful breakfast spot, we got in our Mustangs and took of on a great adventure. We visited the Dole Pinapple plantation, where Mike and I completed a super tough maze, and then Drove out to the Polenysian Cultural Center, where we saw a lot, learned a lot, ate a lot, and enjoyed every bit. Yay, what a great day!

Half asleep from our exciting engagement the day before, Mike and I said goodbye to my family at the curb and met up with Brian and Jen to takeoff for our Hawaiian Vacation. A special dinner becomes a very special moment for Mike and Courtney

Wow, how do I tell this in a little caption box... Mike took Courtney out to a wonderful dinner at Andreas. We had a beautiful time and watched the sun set as we enjoyed our delicious meals and each other's company. After dinner Mike took me for a walk around the grounds, and when we reached the beautifully lit rotunda, Mike told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and asked me to marry him. He gave me the most beautiful ring in the whole world and told me that he loved me for the first time. I told him that I would love to marry him and wear that ring for the rest of my life, (as soon as we got it resized). After that we rushed back to my house where my sister's graduation party was happening and many wonderful friends and family were patiently waiting to hear the great news. We're engaged!
