Then dig up the old 30 year old carport cement
We are adding a garage and 3 bedrooms (24x32 altogether).
We are burying the old carport cement in the back fill of the new garage.
The foundation is ready to be poured!
We are trying to break through the concrete of this wall to put a door to the suite in. (The door was originally on the other side of the house, but we had to move it).
Big truck...which hooked the power lines on the way into the Lane. The lines were hanging too low and oops.
Back filling.

Chris and Mikaya enjoying a "father-daughter moment" together.
Putting up the hardy plank. Chris did the entire house 90% by himself. Not bad for never having done it before.
the back of the house. That is the master bedroom balcony up there. Chris wants to put up a climbing wall to the right of it.
painted hardy planks
Cory hard at work painting the planks
side of the house. Will need scaffolding for the higher part.
Got the scaffolding. Thank you Dustin for organizing that.
Cory's mom was a super help in getting the painting done. There were 300 planks to do, with 2 coats each!
Roll it, roll it.
Finished! Well, all the trim is not done yet, but this is the most up-to-date photo I have.
