Dan thought these weird lighting and ceiling fixtures above the Customs area were “intelligence collecting devices.” Very sci-fi.
Here I am before my Friday night workshop. We spent a couple of hours setting up the room with my handouts and my audio-visual presentation. It looked perfect.
I felt confident and self-assured.
Everyone settled in for an enlightening evening.
And then the floodgates opened. About five minutes into my presentation, water started pouring from the chandelier directly over my head.
It literally poured buckets. Dan scrambled to move my computer and Kim's projecter out from under the deluge, and then moved the trash can under the main source of the floodwaters.
The British always say, “Keep calm and carry on.” We just turned the tables around and moved the presentation to the other side of the room.
Everyone read with three sample cards from the Wizards Taarot deck.
Everyone is interested in the symbolism.
Look who stopped in! That's Ciro Marchetti in the back! Dan and I had dinner with him later on Friday evening.
Linda was the second speaker on Friday evening. She did a great presentation on tarot magic and spells.
On Saturday morning, we all worked together to create a living Celtic Cross.
