Thanks to Donna for the Weed & Seed shirts and for passing them out to everyone. It was nice to be wearing such a bright and visible color while painting on a busy street.
The City donated 25 gallons of paint, which ended up be exactly enough. We actually thought we had run out of paint, but amazingly residents made it work.

We can feel a geat deal of pride in seeing images like this of so many residents pitching in.
There were a handful of kids.
We had an 86 and 82 year old couple paint with us. Phenomenal!!!!
Ah, thanks for bring us donuts and morning fuel (coffee). What a gift for all of us.
Flexing.
We had 3 hours scheduled to do the painting, but residents knocked out the entire project in just a bit over 1.5 hours. But a group of us ended up hanging out for quite a while afterward and just talking.
One neat thing was how many cars honked their horns or gave a "thumbs up" while driving by.
Council Member Ken Cooley dropped by to say hi. He was not able to paint, but it was great to have him stop by and show support.
Going the extra mile by edging the corner and mowing too. Great work everyone.

There was a very obvious hole in the wall, but not anymore. Thanks to Brandon and Gary for taking care of this repair. We all appreciate you.
