Heritage Day at Cople Church

We are running these open Saturdays for 6 months of the year (last sat of the month) We offer tours, brass rubbings, tower trips, Traidcraft stall and coffee and cake. This was our first one (April 2012) and it was a great success Photos courtesy of Julie Scherrer

Charity Shoot Jan 2012

A Charity Shoot on their respective farms to raise funds for St John’s Hospice and the Friends of Cople Church. Sixteen ‘local guns’ assembled in the kitchen at Oak Farm at 9am on a cold and frosty Saturday morning and were greeted with a really welcome and warming glass or two of mulled wine. Maybe every winter day should start that way! Guns were divided into two groups, alternately beating and shooting. A splendid sum of £500 was raised, to be shared equally between the two charities. Thanks go to the Walsh and Porter families for hosting a memorable and successful day.

French Evening 2009

A wonderful, fund-raising French Evening was held at the Cople Church by the Friends of Cople Church. Guests were asked to dress in "French style" whilst enjoying a French themed meal, a quiz on all things French and French wine and cheese. Photos by Ian and Marilyn/Vaughan
