IVE Leadership Program- Kick-Off Event- 09-8-2009
The 8th iteration of the CUNY/IVE of the Leadership Program began with its first ever Fall Kick-Off. On Tuesday September 8, 2009 students from eight CUNY campuses attended a roundtable entitled “CUNY Students in Action” conducted at Baruch College's Lawrence N. Field Center . The event offered a platform for participants of the Leadership Program Summer Incubator to present their projects and share their experiences as part of the program. Prospective students were inspired by the student projects ranging from a school development in Sierra Leone to accessibility solutions for people with disabilities in NYC.
