This is the fur auction that was going on right before the start of the Open North American.
Susan in front of the Arctic Cam at the News-Miner, holding what turned out to be a LITTLE TEENY sign!
Me with her, trying not to do my "It's cold and I gotta pee" dance.
I finally walked across town to the Big I to use the ladies room. :-)
Susan all bundled up against the wind at the News Miner parking lot. It was probably about 10 degrees out this day.
I just thought this was a cool vintage bike with a side car. It was parked in front of the Big I. I didn't write down what it was, though; I bet my friend Jim could tell me, though! The gas tank says "Royal" something. (3-30-09 Jim says this is a "Royal Enfield", made in India, and (I think) a Cozy Sidecar.
Ragnar has deigned to sit on Susan's lap, after years of disdain for her. He didn't want to be petted, though.
"Mmm, boy, that sure looks GOOD! " Susan and I went upstairs to thank my landlady Lissa for the salmon she gave us, and when we got back, Snickers had eaten her salmon, cream cheese and onion english muffin from the coffee table, as well as about 4 of the english muffins from the sleeve of them that we left on the counter.
Hey, who's that bathing beauty? That's actually not *too* bad a picture, I think! It was about 10 degrees out.
Ahhhh, back in the warmth.
Note: the way to do the Hot Springs is to take a biiig bottle of water and DRINK it! :-D
I could stay in here all day...
It's cool how the steam drifts up off the the water in the winter. I was so relaxed on the way back, it was hard to stay awake!
