The class group photo at the end of Friday. As you can see there were lots of black belts there. Some are from our dojo in Redmond. Some are from a dojo in Hope, BC. Some are from Leavenworth, WA. And more.
A proud moment. From left to right: Sensei Jeremy Johnson, me, Sensei AJ Advincula, Sensei Shelly Johnson.
Sensei Advincula and Dan talking in the distance. Roberto on the far left.
In the back left is Roberto and his daughter Gaia. In the center is my Sensei Jeremy (left) and next to him is his Sensei AJ Advincula
The four in front are Sensei Mary, Sensei Jeremy, Sensei AJ, and Dan. In the far left is Alice.
Me on the far left watching and listening while Sensei Advincula shows something to Sensei Jeremy (my Sensei) and others. Against the wall is Robert from Tacoma. Gaia, Roberto, and Alice are center.
Sensei Advincula showing Sensei Mary the finer details.
Sensei Jeremy telling me something (I don't recall). Randy (center) and Yin (far right) look on.
After the seminar on Saturday we went to Jeremy and Shelly's house for BBQ. The kids are playing XBox Rock Band. I think the song was Rush's Tom Sawyer.
And the older folks were chatting it up around the BBQ.
