Avalon 2011 Tattoo

The Clan MacLeod Pipe Band was pleased to be invited to perform with other bands at the fifth annual Avalon Tattoo, a free community event sponsored by the Avalon Beach RSL Sub Branch, in cooperation with the Pittwater Council.

ANZAC Services at the Petersham and Mascot RSL Clubs

The Clan MacLeod Pipe Band has had the privilege for many years to participate in ceremonies conducted by both the Petersham and Mascot RSL Clubs prior to the main ANZAC Day events.

Australia Day 2011 - Bradfield Park, Sydney

The Clan MacLeod Pipe Band has a long standing arrangement with the North Sydney Council and the Celtic Council to provide a musical interlude at the start of the Australia Day celebrations both at Bradfield Park and on the foreshore under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Surfing Scene

The Clan MacLeod Pipe Band is a regular participant at various Surf Live Saving events during the summer season playing for the "March Past" of the various Surf Life Saving teams competing at such events. In this respect the band played at Freshwater in the afternoon of Australia Day (2011); and at Coogee on Saturday 5th February - the day was so hot that the March Past had to be judged in the park adjacent to the beach - and the following day (6th) at Collaroy.
