Chris Wilson in Rolling Stone Magazine Tom Horton Article "George W Bush and The Environment"
I spent almost 12 passionate and fun filled years as a volunteer environmental activist. This included many causes. Ranging from fighting a silicon wafer chip plant in my residential neighborhood in Phoenix; to taking the Lakeway MUD to court without an attorney and winning, forcing the Lakeway MUD to spend $1,000,000 to build a mechanical filtration unit and they spent $250,000 fighting me and another non-attorney mom; to my mega involvement in the Sunset review of the TCEQ - including organizing a 400 person rally on the steps of the Capitol;serving on the Board for Texas Campaign for the Environment to the League of Conservation Voters Texas Toxic Moms Tour against W and meeting and learning from and working with awesome and smart working environmentalists like Robin Schneider, Dr. Neil Carman, Karen Hadden, Smitty, Phyllis Glazer, Loius Gibbs, Steve Brittle and many more!
My sons think it is really cool that their "mum" is in Rolling Stone.
