Sandbox 3-08
I wanted a sandbox for the boys, but not the tiny kind that you buy in the stores that will fit only two one-year-olds. I mentioned to Brigham that I wished my dad was around to build us a big one, and he decided that he would build one for me. He got instructions on the internet, went shopping, and we spent an entire afternoon sawing, screwing, and calking. It was awesome. We couldn't afford the wood or the tools that it recommending, so there was a lot of improvisation (fence slats for boards, bungee cords for c-clamps, a regular saw for a round one, etc.), but it worked! Here is the sandbox, and I am quite proud of it. Today in Joy School the kids had an awesome time playing in it-- despite the fierce winds.
