The famous floating souvenir shops of Lake Titikaka (Islas flotantes de Los Uros).
Ryan my riding partner between Puno and La Paz.
Isla del Sol.
Four star camping. One of the things I love about Latin America is a willingness to bend the rules. La Paz, a city in my opinion best appreciated from a distance such as this.
El Alto, Bolivia. The daily job search.
"Destroying road signs is an offence". I wonder how long it will last...
Following in Che's motorcycle tracks along Ruta 40 in Northwest Argentina - not quite the smooth tarmac road my map had indicated.
Salinas Grandes (salt flats).
A giant shoe. Or is it?

Another 4,200m pass conquered. (Salinas Grandes in the distance.)
The descent. Fun.
Scrubby paramo gives way to desert canyon.
Purmamarca.
Tumbaya, one of the many adobe villages in the Quebrada de Humahuaca.
