Dr. Noble's Sensory Evaluation Workshop
Chinook Wines hosted an intimate Wine Sensory Workshop lead by Dr. Ann Noble, Professor Emerita of University of California at Davis. A sensory scientist and flavor chemist, Noble developed the Wine Aroma Wheel in the early 1980s as a research tool to describe wines in a standard, non-judgmental manner. After developing a common language through training with wine "standards" and aroma wheels, Dr. Noble worked with participants to describe several Yakima Valley wines.
