A modern copy of an Edinboro set, weighted.
The bishop at least is changed.
Some changes here, I think
Hmm, nice.
Just showing the difference in size of the two sets.
these roll up boards used to make real money, this is a good big one.
This is interesting, just one Indian pawn, but with English screw threads.
Donkey, ass!
The plstic doesn't seem really old.
Just these pieces
Red king changed.
There's a similar set up in Christies Sth. Ken. on the same day, It'll be interesting to see how the prices compare.
Looks like all the pawns are missing from one side.
And the knight at the back is dead.
I'm afraid I don't like these.
Kin'da nice Anglo-Indian.
Kin'da sh*te Anglo -Indian ( 1970s import)
Leuchers boards never die
But it would have been kinder to let nature take it's course.
Very unusual design, some minor breaks.
I like the 'Alice, Teniel' style drawings, but the board is warped.
But I really like the drawings, Luke insists it's not ~Teniel, but I like it anyway. But that looks to me like a really sulky Alice. If you've got a copy of Alice in wonderland , go and look at the drawings, and providing it's not one of the other 130 illustrators of 'Alice' you'll see where I'm coming freom.
Just about the worst copy Iv'e ever seen.
I've seen some really, really nasty things in my life, and this is on the list to be worst. (and don't forget, I once was a bricky)
Interesting catalogue of a Neuremberg turner, just a few pages.
OK, I like this guy, so sue me. (not really Doylf)
Modern cr*p
Hello George.
