"Alan, I have the same catalogue and was told it was from c.1910 - I have seen others quote similar dates and up to 1920. The use on this page - see para 7 - of the RM sign (for ReichsMarks) dates it to 1924-48 during which that currency existed. My feeling is that it is mid/late 1930's in reality."
