'Holidays' Weekend
Ecuador knows how to celebrate holidays. In one weekend, we had 1) Dia de las brujas, 2) Dia de los Santos Todos, 3) Dia de los Funtos (Muertos), and 4) Dia de la Independecia de Cuenca. That's right, four days, four holidays, two days of vacation. The family and I headed to Cotacatchi, the city where Marjory grew up, where her sister lives, and more importantly, where her parents are buried. We gathered with many other family members for the festitivites and to visit the cemetary.
