At the NW Lounge while waiting for the flight. Steve: “So how long is the camera timer set for?”
“Okay let's try that again.”
The Disney Magical Express Counter at Orlando's International Airport. This is where everyone goes to check in for their ride to their Disney Hotels.
Waiting for our bus to the Caribbean Resort
We didn't get to ride the bus with the Mickey logo. We rode the yellow bus, the one on the right.
Passing the Disney World sign and entering the Resort complex. That place is HUGE!
There are a total of 7 major places to see: 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios); 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon); and Downtown Disney (a shopping district). All the numbers you see in the map are all Disney resorts. Ours is #13.
The entrance to the check in counter. The people on the benches are waiting for the shuttle to take them back to the airport.
The Caribbean Beach Resort. We were in building 25, in the Martinique section. The resort is so big it has an *internal* shuttle.
Our room!
Lots of storage space and hangers :-). There was also an iron & ironing board in the room.
The room has a "Finding Nemo" theme. Even the wallpaper border had Nemo characters.
Even the sheets had Nemo characters on them too :-) .
Love the double vanities :-).
First stop: the Magic Kingdom! They've already set it up for fall :-).
Map of the Magic Kingdom.
Some of the other fall decorations
City Hall. This is where we get buttons and where Steve is issued a handheld captioning device.
My backpack has two buttons: “Happy Anniversary” and “First Visit.”
View of Cinderella's Castle
We had lunch at Casey's Hot Dogs. An old time piano player entertained us with some music :-).
Video of the old time piano player
It's a Small World
"It's a small world after all..."
"It's a small, small world."
(Loop song over and over and over)
Actually it wasn't that bad :-). Steve said it wasn't as corny as he thought it would be.
Stitch!
The Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade
Me wearing 3D glasses to watch Mickey's Philharmagic Show. It's not just a 3D movie, they also incorporate smell and touch to the film :-).
Another view of Cinderella's Castle
Steve and I had dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern, who after finding out it was our anniversary, decorated our table with mickey cutouts formed in the shape of a heart :-).
Steve and I had dinner in the George & Martha Washington room
Yeah, we were tired :-)
Not even smiling can hide the dark circles around my eyes :-).

The lights change every so often, giving the castle a different glow
