The camefix panel is sealed in a secondary glazed unit.. 54 cm w x 70 cm h. The cut glass edges don't have to be made safe, so they are not sealed into came. This gives a lighter feeling than if it were made with lead came. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.comhttp://www.flickr.com/search/?q=camefix

Light projected from stained glass onto its maker's back. The symbol is a sankofa, a West African symbol for 'learn fron your mistakes' which I interpret as a symbol of existensialism.http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=camefix

Heres a detail- the little star is 10 cm x 10 cm. I took the design from an antique carpet I saw in the King of spain's Palace on Mallorca. The thin black lines are black milliput. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
Another detail. About 20 cm h x 30 cm w. You can see the sharp edges of the cut glass, outlined with sunlight which runs along the edges. This is only possible because the stained glass is within a secondary glazed unit. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
Another detail. About 20 cm h x 30 cm w. The 3 clear glass rectangles are textured so they sparkle when the light hits them; I buy the glass like that from a shop; I don't colour it or texture it myself but I do engrave it with text or images. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/

Work In Progress. Four of these are to be made. A small round swarovski crystal in the centre will make rainbows. Dichroric film (right) is being used; this shows different colours depending on whether the light comes from inside or outside. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
Text engraved on clear textured glass, covered in dichroric film. This film appears a different colour depending on which way the light passes through it. The text says 'Accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative, Don't go for Mr In-between' which is an old Andrews Sisters song from the 1940s.http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
Suncatcher 10 cm sq. I make these little suncatchers so that when I have to show people what my stained glass looks like, I can whip one out from my bag and say, "That's what I do". http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com/http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/

Suncatcher, 13.5 x 13.5 cm square. Coloured glass held in a frame of camefix. It has an orange glass 'jewell' in its centre. Suncatchers can hang in a window because they are small. I can easily carry them in my bag to show people (stained glass windows are too big and heavy). I made this suncatcher so I could experiment with different techniques. Sunlight passing through it projects coloured light onto the walls. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
Suncatcher, 13.5 x 13.5 cm square. Glass held in a frame of resin and camefix. It has an amber glass 'jewell' in its centre. It was made as a tribute to Antonio Gaudi the Catalan architect (of Barcalona fame) who covered some of his structures with broken, random, mosaic-like surfaces. Sadly it took a lot of effort to cut the glass to shape so I won't be making more of these. Suncatchers can hang in a window because they are small. suncatcher, 10 x 14 cm. Red, purple and blue glass with a swarovski crystal. Its design of rich deep colours in vertical bands was a tribute to the work of Mark Rothco. Suncatchers can hang in a window because they are small. I can easily carry them in my bag to show people (stained glass windows are too big and heavy). I made this suncatcher so I could experiment with different techniques. I am the inventor of Camefix and the ONLY artist using it. here I am standing next to a window I made which is installed in my home. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
I won a double gold award for the plastic came at the British Inventions Show, Alexandra Palace, London October 15-18 2008. So I am now an award-winning artist. I was sponsored by GWIIN the Global Women Inventor's and Innovator's Network. http://camefix-artglass.blogspot.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/21806070@N02/
