2008-09-01 - Ned Winch

Meet out new dog "Ned" Winch. We purchased him from a Pet Shop on Saturday 1 September. He is a Long Haired Chihuahua Cross and is 8 weeks old and he weighs 1.5Kg. He is fitting into our house just fine at the moment.

Singapore Holiday July 2007

Kath went to the UK to visit our daughter in June/July 2007 and returned via Singapore. We thought it would be a good chance to have a short holiday together so I flew up to Singapore and met up with Kath and we spent 6 nights there. The last time Kath and I were in Singapore was 29 years ago in 1978 when we first met. We had a great time taking in all the tourist sights again as well as enjoying the local shopping and restaurants.

Brisbane Birds

I live in Ferny Hills, a suburb of Brisbane, Australia. In our neighbourhood and in the Brisbane there are some lovely birds in our area. I have introduced trees that attract birds to feed such as native bottle brush and also a "P*ssed Parrot Tree". I have also placed a home made bird bath in our back yard that most of the birds have a drink or wash in. Cheers Buddha

Spread Eagle Midhurst

I was lucky enough to go on a business trip to the UK in September 2006. I stayed with three work colleagues in a 14th Century Hotel in Midhurst West Sussex. The hotel is called "The Spread Eagle Hotel". We had a lovely stay at the Spread Eagle. It is a terrific spot Winchy

2007-06-12 - Poona Queens Birthday Weekend

Kath, Josh and I decided to spend the Queens Birthday long weekend at Poona, on the coast. Poona is about a 2 to 3 hour drive north of Brisbane and overlooks Fraser Island. We rented a house for four nights. As there is nothing at Poona except for a Caravan Park, we took everything with us including all our food and drinks plus our small "Tinnie" &3.5hp outboard. The weather was terrific, the fishing was bad but we enjoyed trying and only caught one Flathead. We just lazed the days away & had a great relax.

2007-08-09 - Kath London and Edinburgh

Kath took a trip to the UK via Hong Kong in July to spend a month with our daughter Rebekah in Haywards Heath, West Sussex and also to do a bit of tripping around with a visit to Edinburgh Scotland. Hope you like the attached photos

2007-08-09 - Kath UK & Europe

The attached bundle of photographs are of Kath and Rebekah in the UK, Paris and Salzburg, Austria. Kath and Rebekah decided to include the Salzburg trip to go on the "Sound of Music Tour" which was lovely. They thought Paris was pretty grubby and it did not help much with their opinions when Kathy had here purse removed by a pickpocket in a Gallery in Paris. It appeared that pickpockets are tolerated by the arrogant authorities in Paris. So beware if you intend to go to Paris and guard your belongings and be very aware of your surrounds.
