Our Comm Trailer
In Beaumont, TX
This is the communication equipment on the trailer. We had a business band radio, a CB, a small dual-band amateur radio, a Kenwood TS-2000 HF/VHF/UHF amateur radio, a Kenwood D-700 amateur radio, another Kenwood multi-band amateur radio, several FRS radios, and all the personal equipment we brought along. We had Winlink 2000 capability, cell-phone amplifier, and cellular Internet access.
The bottom bunk is where I slept. The sound of the diesel generator on the back of the trailer helped me sleep at night.

Hugh Cater on the left and Don Miller on the right. These guys are seasoned DR responders, and they taught me some very valuable lessons.
