Our little cabin kitchen.
Living area -- looking down from the loft.
Sarah learning to play chess. Yep, it was funny.
Oleander cabin
This silly rooster was a frequent visitor until our smart dog decided to play "chicken" with it. It was like something out of a cartoon watching Chester chase this dumb rooster around and around the cabin! Hilarious!
Brent and Chelsey -- Old Man's Cave. (Sounds like our retirement home..)
On the walk to Upper Falls at Old Man's Cave.
Cool staircase carved into the rock.

Fungus anyone?

Cool balancing act.
I loved all the moss everywhere. The walls of the trails were covered in it!
We had to walk through a dark tunnel carved in a rock. The kids weren't too thrilled about that, but it was pretty neat!
Old Man's Cave-- It's hard to capture just how massive this rock cave really is!

Brent and the boys.
Walking on an unstable bridge isn't too fun... but of course, Sarah loved it.
On her throne. Need I say more?
Jake and I called these rocks at Cedar Falls the "flaky bisquit rocks".

Goofy self snapshot.
Jake was trying to so hard to keep up and not complain. He was AWESOME! I think he was rather tired by this time.
We had to all stop for a fuzzy caterpiller crossing on the stairs.
Geoff and Jake hiking up the trail.
Sarah waiting for us slow pokes.

This was a massive tree, and it was still dwarfed by this cave. Ash Cave
Ash Cave. By far our most favorite spot. Supposedly revered as a spiritual place for indians~ and I believe it!
Ash Cave. 100 ft drop from this waterfall. Brent and the kids look like miniatures.
Sarah at the top of Ash Cave.
The dirt was like sand from the beach. Very soft and fun to play in.

Jake starting to slow down....
Geoff with his marshmallows back at the campfire.
Halleluiah! The perfect smore.
Geoff likes them a little burnt. (Yuck.)
Our cabin for a few days.
Sarah isn't so fond of the burnt marshmallow.
Here's Jake's version of a smore.
View from the gem mining place. We took the kids there to let them mine for jewels, but it had just closed for the season. Darn.
Rock House. Creepy, bat filled and really cool at the same time. Massive cave.

Ending of Rock House.
This sign makes me laugh. Tractor crossing.
Jake all tuckered out after a long day of hiking.
The kid's loft.
