Santa & his elves ready to tour the neighborhood.
Our first "customer " wasn't too sure about Santa's agenda...
...but somebody else was pretty pleased.
Every parent got a picture of her kids with the big guy.
People came form all corners of the park...
...as the word spread that Santa was here...
...and so they started lining up to see for themselves if it was all true.
And of course, it was!
Santa listened to every request...
...every wish...
...and looked into every little face...
...and usually got a smile!
And the elves were ever-present...
...to deliver "presents", as every chiuld got a gift from the North Pole!
And so the day was about excitement...
...and a return to innocence...
...and hopeful dreams...
...and joyous hearts.
Everybody got in on the fun...
..and people just kept coming.
Lots of gifts and smiles.
Did this little guy have a wish for a Bengals win later in the day? (Santa obviously missed that one!)
A great Christmas lesson here...
That we're all so much the same...
...we're all so connected as people...
...and that God is so ever-present!
You can see His beauty in every child's face...
...in very baby's cry for mommy...
...and in every moment when hearts come alive!
He's just waiting for us to really look for Him!
The day wraps up with some cookies and hot chocolate...
...and some more "elf time" with neighbors.
And, ya know, Santa always seems to find the cookies!
