Looking back toward the Great Bear (on the left). You can clearly see the knobby tire tracks of a motorcycle.
All this damage was caused by a motorcycle.
Even the bottom of the hill has been heavily rutted by repeated motorcycle passes.
Here you can see just how deep the ruts are.
The motorcyclist thought it was so great the trails were muddy he did a few donuts. The sticks in the foreground were used to post a sign asking to stay off the trails....
One of the signs posted by Jeff mysteriously ended up in one of the deeper ruts with motorcycle tracks across it.
It says "ATTENTION MOTORCYCLE USERS" just in case there was any doubt that people riding their pet mooses were causing all the damage.
