The front of the cabin
The front steps leading to the front door, but it is actually located on the side of the cabin. (Does that make sense?)
View of the back of the cabin. As you can see, the view from the front windows is beautiful flowing mountain ranges.
The bridge over our beaver creek, and the road leading to the cabin.
Cleaning out the fort.
Fun fireworks!
Aidan viewing the fireworks from inside the truck...where it's safe. (He was a bit scared of the loud noises)
(L-R) Christian, and his girlfriend Liz, Ethan, Nana & Pop-pop, all enjoying the show.
All tuckered out
Aunt Nisha taking Aidan for a walk.
This is pretty much what Aidan was doing the entire time...running!
Although, he did take some time to rest and pant like a dog. (Aidan & Cooper)
Christian and Greg showing off their skills
I put my camera on motor-drive and was able to capture the casing flying out of Greg's gun.
The boys hanging out with Nana
Jason practicing his golf swing.
The beaver dam and our shy neighbor, Mr. Beaver.
This is typical Aidan. He threw down his gun and dropped his head when he saw Ethan walking down the hill without him. Ethan quickly realized that Aidan was upset and came running up the hill to get him.
I took a lot of “cowboy” pictures and played with color, saturation, tints, etc. (My mom wanted a lot of these shots so she could hang her grandson cowboy pics throughout the cabin) So hold on to your horses. You might be a while. (i'll try to just pick my favs.)
Jason (Cole's oldest son- 14)
Nick - 12
Trevor - 10 (Cole's 3rd boy)
Ryan - 8
Cole's youngest son, Erik - 5 1/2
Ethan found this ridiculous hat and refused to take it off. He wanted to wear a cowboy hat like all his cousins.
Aidan's cute little butt.
Oliver enjoying the horses.
All the grandkids (minus Olie) or I guess I could say grandsons. There are no girls in this family. (L-R) Jason, Aidan, Nick, Erik, Trevor, Ethan & Ryan
I enjoyed taking pictures of Cole and his boys.
I had fun with this one. I saturated the photo with a blue tint, then played with the shadows and highlights.
Sparkler fun
We took a drive around Vallecito Lake
I have always loved these wagon wheels laying against the garage.
