Our home for the next 3 days....the Celebrity Mercury
Getting excited - have no idea what to expect, none of us have EVER been on a cruise.
All Aboard!
Checkin out our room, we choose the cheapest we could get which meant, "near the steerage" :) Bottom floor, no windows. Kinda smelled like urine. :)
We spent most of our time in my parents or cousins room who had a bigger rooms with a huge decks

Our next port stop was Nanaimo...we headed out to go kayaking
Again, such beautiful weather, Nanaimo was a very quite and picturesque town
Dad and I were in one Kayak (my dad's first time!)
My mom kayaked with Ben. It was her first time as well, and she wanted to check this off her "things to do in life" list.
We kayaked around the island to the left to eat a restaurant on pier we had heard good things about

Finally we arrived at the restaurant, surrounded by good hearted Canadians having a laugh with/at us.
While we were kayaking, Annie, Diane and Avery went to a playground. Where was this thing she's playing in when I was growing up??? Looks super fun
Back on land, we were a little disappointed in the cruise, but still happy to vacation together!
....and back in Ben and Lisa's favorite city, Seattle!
