Vogan Training

Anna and I hosted a two day training of trainers for women from Vogan and surrounding villages. We held sessions on HIV/AIDS, women and HIV, effective teaching techniques, and nutrition. It was my first training and it went really well!

December was full of Peace Corps parties, two of which were the 45th Anniversary of PC in Togo and the swearing in of the newest stage. It meant I was in Lome a lot, and a vast amount of Togolese beer was consumed.

Agou Nyogbo

The small village in the Plateau region where we did our 3 month training. The village is located in the foothills of Mt Agou, the largest mountain in Togo. I took for granted the beauty of this village, until I left and realized it was the most beautiful place in the country.
