The Fireboat Alexander Grantham
1868 was the year that the HK Fire Brigade was officially formed. Then, in 1883, the first fireboat was put into service performing sea rescue operations. In the following 100 years, the Fire Brigade went through various stages of development. The A. Grantham launch ceremony was held at HK & Whampoa Dock on 22 Dec, 1952.
