Blurry, but you can tell how cute Asher was walking with his special CO walking stick!
This hike was MUCH more uphill than the other one, and Asher did GREAT!!!
He loves playing with his sister!
These were the craziest Aspen trees I've ever seen! They were horizontally bowed!
When I was younger, one of my “weird” things was that whenever I saw an aspen tree, I just wanted to BREAK it - even though that is impossible! :) So, I took a picture of this broken aspen tree.
We made it to the top of mountain, where we found this BEAUTIFUL lake!!! Such a sense of accomplishment! And such an amazing place!
We carefully made our way down to the lake. :)
He was “fishing” with his walking stick.
He's a genius! (He didn't really write it.) :)
Ainsley wanted to go for a swim.
Finding the perfect rock to throw in the water
Getting a little more fishing in before we needed to go
Ainsley didn't necessarily care about much on our hike, but we passed this tree trunk on our way up from the lake, and she grabbed it and wouldn't let go. She loved it for some reason. :)

He did it! :)
This is the place I had been to with Mom, Dad, and Emily several years ago.
