Cuernavaca, Mexico~Portraiture workshop

16 days in beautiful Cuernavaca...just so I could do my "Virgin of Guadalupe" face perfectly! So beautiful, great food, wonderful friendly locals. Festivals almost daily....and a 'Gay Parade' to boot! It was all wonderful....hope I can get Lynn to go back with me!

Kathleen's pool Table

Kathleen is a friend who is building a new home. In the pool she wanted a mosaic swim-up table that would incorporate her pool tiles. After teaching her the how's and why's.....I suggested that she add some sparkle to pop the table so that it didn't blend too much with the pool tiles. This was her first mosaic.

ORSONI PEACOCK

After drawing 10 different pictures of Peacock's ...and hateing them all...and after listening to everyone say ''use all the golds you can"....I did a "Peacock"! The Peacock is a sign of "Resurection"....a new birth, a new life...and with the last name of Peacock.....what else could I do? LOL! This is "MY" rendition of a Peacock, not tipical at all, and it is done all in Golds.....I hope one day to finish it too!

Jim & Shelly's Peacock

After not seeing my son for 4 years, I decided to go for a visit to Jim's house in Washington state.....I bought, and found many wonderful objects. I decided to make them a mosaic for their beach house out of all the goodies!

A table for Joannie & Parker

Joannie wanted a mosaic palmtree table. I bought the table, mosaiced it....but because it wouldn't fit in the back of the truck, they didn't take it home right away. The next fall they had a house fire and lost everything. They had to find a new place to live.....then they took their table home. It would have been lost in the fire if they would have taken it when they were suppost to!
