From the rear deck looking toward Scotland Cay. The waves are breaking on a wonderful reef and coral gardens which are located in front of Dolphin Lookout(TM). Guests as well as we have enjoyed the thrill of swimming and snorkeling across to Scotland Cay in this area. To the far right of this picture you see Scotland Cay's beach in the distance. This beach is featured in our kayak pictures.
This is what you will experience from the rear door of the cottage. The rear door opens directly out from the bedroom.
Dolphin cove and Dolphin Lookout's(TM) dock on the Sea of Abaco (bay side). This about a 3-5 minute picturesque serene walk from the cottage which is located on the oceanfront.
Welcome to some of Dolphin Lookout's(TM) "front yard." You will see this area looking east from the cottage's front deck. We are on our way to Scotland Cay's beach, about a 15-20 min. kayak ride from Dolphin Cove and our dock.
Scotland Cay's magnificent cove and wonderful beach. This reminds us of a scene out of the South Pacific in the Society Islands of which Tahiti is a part of. Guests Fritz and Ingrid from Germany, have referred to this as "Polynesia Beach."
You will see this scene in the distance from Dolphin Lookout's(TM) front deck. Yes the water looks just like this.
This is what you will experience when you step onto Scotland Cay's gorgeous beach. Dolphin Lookout(TM) and the easterly tip of Guana Cay is located to far upper left of this picture. The channel or "cut," between Guana Cay and Scotland Cay, is where we generally swim and snorkel over to Scotland Cay. You can see where the two islands are relatively close together at this point. Once we cross over to Scotland Cay we walk through the crystal clear water and on the white sand beach to where this picture was taken.
South Beach(Caysera beach) is about a 5 min. golf cart ride/walk from Dolphin Lookout(TM). As described by many of our guests, you may have this beach all to yourself. Dolphin Lookout(TM) is located just on the other side of a grove of trees shown on the far upper right of this picture. In the distance, you see Scotland Cay's oceanfront white sand beach located at the northwest tip of Scotland Cay. You have a terrific view of Scotland Cay's oceanfront beach from the front deck of Dolphin Lookout as shown above.
Baker's Bay's is located on the Sea of Abaco (bay side) at the very northwest tip of Guana Cay, about 8 miles from Dolphin Lookout(TM). Accessible by boat only. Boat rentals and charters are available. On the oceanfront, at this end of the island, is an equally spectacular beach with marvelous coral gardens just a short distance out from the shoreline.

New bathroom mirror frame. Custom made by doweling 2x8 cypress together. The wood came from a local historic cottage. You can see the shower curtain in the rear and the marine tile murals on the countertop.
