Brahmarakshasu to NampAduvAn - Once a deer was caught by a lion, will it allow the deer to escape? Am not going to trust you;
NampAduvAn to Brahmarakshasu - I promise that, if am not return to you, I may get the sin of those who say that Sriman Narayanan is equivalent to OR on par with OR inferior with some one (other devatha) ;
On hearing that promise, Brahmarakshasu left NampAduvAn to have darshan of Thiru Kurungudi Nambi on ekAdasi day. NampAduvAn recited pAsurams on Nambi using various paN's. The last paN was ;Kaisika paN;
After completing jAkratha vratham and rendered pAsurams on Nambi, NampAduvAn was interrupted on the way by Nambi as an old man. Nambi adviced NampAduvAn to escape from Brahmarakshasu.
But NampAduvAn refused to keep away from his promise and returned back to Brahmarakshasu. NampAduvAn - Oh Brahmarakshasu, please consume me as per the promise;
Brahmarakshasu - BhagavatharE, please give me the phalan of pAsurams that you rendered to Kurungudi Nambi, so that I may refrain from my curse;. NampAduvAn - No, As per the deal, I came back after darshan of Kurungudi Nambi, now it's your turn to consume me as food;
NampAduvAn - initially, you seem to be aggressive and threatened me, now you are requesting the phalan of the last pAsuram on KAISIKA PAN, Who are you?, What is your poorvikam, gOthram?
Brahmarakshasu - Oh BhagavatharE, I got reminded of my poorvikam. My name is sOma sarma. Due to my mistake during yagnam, I was cursed. I was informed that, due to a bhaktha from chandala kulam, I would regain from the curse;
