Ferry over to Fraser Island

Our view from the deck at Eurong Beach Resort
Itchy Caterpillars

Maheno Ship Wreck
RUST IN PEACE .... grafitti is not appreciated
Loving the Maheno!
All Gone!
What the beach looked like for over a hundred kilometers
keeps going and going
can't remember what these clammy things were called, but we all dug some up and had a race to see who's would bury themselves first
not a good thing to have on the "road"
Planes just fly overtop of you and land on the beach ... you have to be careful
Atop Indian Head ... looking South
People chillaxing on a very steep cliff face
Spotting sharks from Indian Head (saw maybe 10 or so lurking around) .... some were big, some small. With polarized sunglasses you could see them more clearer ..... let's just say NO ONE swims in the ocean on Fraser
the big drop at Indian Head
Loving the 2nd beautiful day!
one of the big cliffs
Facing South again
Facing North .... it's an ugly area!
Indian Head on the left
The only swimming we actually did in the ocean was that Salt Water Pool
Loving Indian Head
The Pinnacles
Coconut Joe! He joined our tour for a little
Eli Creek
you jumped into the creek further upstream and let the current take you to the ocean!
nice sand
Eli Creek flowing into the ocean
4wd heading through the creek
I got up for sunrise at 6am???? the day before 3 people got up at 4:30 for it .... woops!
Not a bad sunrise.....
Crazy Tree and Vines at Central Station
My brother was at this tree!
funky as
Lake Birraboon .... whitest sand EVER!!!! I couldn't keep my eyes open without wearing sunglasses!
the water was crystal clear as well ..... our tour guide found a turtle and brought it to shore .... i was swimming as well .... so no photos of the turtle
when it gets to the dark water it just drops off like the deep end in a swimming pool
Heading for the turtle search
enjoying the view
Loving Birraboon Lake
so is everyone else!
Warry taking a snap

Lake Boomanjin .... not polluted .... just stayed by Tea Tree Oil
dare you to drink that water!
the painful ride to brisbane ..... no legroom .... i was applauded for my ability to sleep even during the heaviest 4x4ing .... supposedly the tour guide was hitting bumps just to bang my head off the windows
