Little Bosco is a little more lively this weekend. We had lots of visitors, including Bri's cousin's dog Rosie. Bosco made Rosie submit within the first 5 minutes (good dog!). He's quite comfortable is his new home now and can be a little psycho every once in a while.

Pictures of our new English Bulldog - Bocephus 'Bosco' of Iroc - I call him Meatball. We picked him up January 13th. He weighs in at just under 12lbs. So far spends a lot of his time sleeping and doesn't need to get up too often during the night (thankfully!)

Had a little house party to celebrate New Years Eve. Tons of awesome food, some WJHC and Flames hockey action and darts/pool in the basement. Our good freinds Jimmy PC, Ernie S and Eddie L showed up with a large bottle of rye. For once someone else's pants fell down.

It's our first Christmas in the house and we had not 1 but 2 trees. I guess that makes up for not having one the last 10 years! Opened gifts in the morning at home and then went to Shannon and Doug's for dinner. It was over 15 degrees outside so we spent most of the afternoon outside before stuffing ourselves with turkey and wine. Shannon was in bed puking by 8:30- another successful Christmas!

Got up bright and early and made our way to Mile High stadium for the Broncos pre-game. On the way in Doug got to meet Broncos ring of famer Karl Mecklenburg and get his autograph. We later caught some action and cheep beer in the tent before checking out the die-hards at the tailgate in the main lot. The game and atmosphere was awesome - Broncos ended up winning 49-21.

After our pre-pregame warmup in the hotel we went to a pub next door to the Pepsi center. Being the ass I am, I wore a Bertuzzi shirt to see what kind of reaction I'd get. Avs won 4-3 in overtime - good game. Afterwards we went to some bar in LoDo (I think) where there was a Halloween party. Doug found his favorite mask ever, we lost Sco (who was later close to a drive-by), Paul got in a fight with a wall and lost and found some dog food burritos.

Got in around noon Friday and went to afternoon happy hour at the pub next to the hotel for $1 beers. Had to go shopping at ON for Sco (I guess he forgot to bring clothes???) and then spent the night downtown. Paul made a friend who had lots of rage.

Headed out with Denny & Paul to break in Denny's new HD Sportster 1200 Custom. Took the old Banff highway (1A) which had some nice bends and a lot less traffic. On the way back we came around a corner and there was about 100 horses on the highway - some kid (with a sportbike and not enough experience) who caught up and was behind us panicked, locked his brakes in the corner and ditched his bike. Fortunately, he had good gear on to minimize the road rash but he still messed up his knee pretty bad. Bike was pretty messed up.

Beefed up the front end with a new set of passing lamps. Also cleaned up the handlebars by relocating the turn signals to below the passing lamps. I was fortunate to be able to do this twice since HD provided me with the wrong parts!

On my final full day/night in Halifax we headed over to Langley's to drink some beers, play some Kubb and Air Hockey and cook up a mean storm before heading onto the Silva for a booze-cruise. Made the unwise decision at the end of the night to buy the biggest donair in the world- not a good idea!
