Sara's Treasures; Altered Art I
Altered art involves putting various materials together to alter the original image and create a piece of art. Materials used can vary from papers, buttons, photos, ephemera, pictures, ink stamping, fibers, wire, and various found objects.
A small version of art called Artist Trading Cards (ATC) is a common format . It is creating on a heavy card the size of a typical playing card. Artists can use any materials in this small format. You will find many examples on ebay if you search atc, altered art, or small format art.
