Cushites / Nubians / Ethiopia / Sudan I have heard it said that Abu Simbel was a monument placed on the Nile to warn the Nubians. If so it is the marker of the edge of the Nubian Kingdom. The land called Ethiopia was not the country now called Ethiopia, but Ethiopia = Cush/Sudan
