CG day 8 Woohoo! Look at all those curls! This pic was taken (after class) @ 9:15am on a day when I had to be at PE class by 8am--woke up late and didn't have time to diffuse. It's still wet, and didn't dry 'til 1 pm!
Day 8 as well, but around 2pm--with dry hair. And no, it's not highlighted; that is my natural color.
This kind of gives a front and back view of my typical updo.
To soften the look of the front, I usually pull my "forelock" back and to the side-with just a little poof to keep it from looking slicked. Then I bobby pin it there before I put the rest of my hair up. The pink arrow points to where it's pinned.

Alternately, I tried pulling my forelock straight back--giving myself a "robin-top." But I didn't like the look; it was too symmetrical.
