See I did go to the camel races. All the high ranking officals get driven in a bus or car around the track at high speed so that they can be closer to the action. Crazy aye!
Now get this. For show they have dug a hole trucked in water by the truck load just for tourists like me. I feel really priveleged.

This was a sight for sore eyes on the way to Abu Dhabi one weekend. Tied on to the back of a ute. Yip shaking my head. Heard of one poor camel who after getting free and wobbling to its feet, toppled off the ute and smack onto the road. That ute would have been driving pretty fast too. Can you imagine the mess?
