After the morning tours, a group of 7 of us took a taxi through the new town to the base of the Acropolis of Corinth - also known as Acrocorinth - a fortified citadel of ancient and medieval Corinth. Then we hiked through the ruins for 2 hours undisturbed by crowds or other visitors.
