All lined up and ready to head out on our adventure.
That's what campsite number 47 looks like in Alvarado Campground.
Looking out over the Wet Mountain Valley (Westcliffe, CO)
Some of these trails were quite an angle. It doesn't look as bad in this picture as it seemed when we were riding them.
Noah sees the trout, but they don't think his bait is enticing enough.
Robbie's gonna catch one.
Nothing like getting your hair washed in COLD water. Rebecca is enjoying this too much.
A nice cup of Hot Chocolate in the kitchen.
I let you figure this one out. I'll just say there's no photoshopping done here.
Russell gets down on his knees to negotiate this water crossing.
Noah waits for Dad at the Rainbow Reservoir.
Robbie tries his luck again. I don't think we caught a single fish all week. The boys were excited to get back and fish in our own ponds, where we catch fish every time.
Eric crossing the Niagara Falls.
Diane and Eric playing Speedminton. Diane was the champ of us all. Did you know, Diane lettered in Badminton in High School in Alta Loma, CA?
Noah finds just the right rock to relax on and eat a cup of stew.
Yes, we did get in some hiking. Here are Eric, Katie and Peter getting ready to hike down to base from Balman Reservoir.
Rebecca, Eric, Katie and Kellye on the train to Royal Gorge.
That's the family after riding the Royal Gorge Express.
I told you a bear walked right into our camp. While the family scrammed to the car, I found my camera and got a few good shots. I was careful to observe if he was acting agressive. I yelled at him and since he turned and slowly headed away, I figured there was no reason to worry.
Here we are getting ready to raft.
Now we're getting ready to RUMBLE!
This is the Big Horn Sheep crew. Noah is perched right in the front with Diane right behind him. Robbie is in the very back of the raft and Peter and Russell are in the back corners.
They got to go through some Class III rapids, so they had a great time.
