The jungles in the GSMNP ( Great Smoky Mountains National Park ). This was next to our campsite.

This is what I saw the first day I woke up :) ... Its great to see the jungle outside your tent and have bird calls to wake you up !

On the trail to Hen Wallow waterfall.
Water, sunlight and pebbles in a brook. I just can't get enough of these photos ever since the first one I took @ Rajmachi. If you know which photo that is ... then you are one of my close friends.
A poplar rots away in the forest. Such places are favourites among snakes. Though I did not see any here.
Serpentine roots emerge out of the soil on the trails.
The sun struggles to reach the ground here. No wonder all the vegetation here is tall with foliage @ the very top in order to catch as much light as possible !
The Hen Wallow waterfall. Its simply peaceful and gorgeous. But after a 2.5 mile hike this seemed like a bit of a put-off !

We catch a stream on the way to the Midnight Hole.
There is a nice little pool upstream where people can swim and dive in. But we were in a rush and could not make it.
Again water, pebbles and sunlight. I just love to take these :) !

We made these pics on the table cover @ an Italian restaurant while waiting for the dinner. Pavan wanted a bear on his dining table. He got his wish in the end.
