Art In All of Us day
Stephanie and Anthony from Belgium came over to promote their Art In All of Us project which incooperates using art as a means of expressing your world and culture. The kids got a crash course in digital photography and drew pictures of their own their own as to how they view their island. Through all of this we are hoping to initiate an art penpal program with another country.

A PCV Vacation
Several volunteers and myself decided to take up the opportunity to hop aboard the easycruise ship that came to port in Basseterre. We then embarked on a week long vacation to Antigua, Anguilla, St. Barts, St. Martin, and good ol' Nevis!

Carnival 2006
Carnival takes place each year in December here in St. Kitts. This was my first one and very memorable!! The other volunteers and I helped with the Small Island Voice clean-up troupe.

Women's Rally and World AIDS Day
Both these events are in December. For World AIDS day there was a parade through Basseterre with the schools and groups carrying thier banners. For the Women's Rally we placed wreaths on the graves of women who lost their lives due to domestic viloence.
