Buddha's Birthday Celebration
The weekend before Buddha's "birthday" the city clebrates with a huge festival in Insadong. The paper lanterns are a centerpiece of the event and we were lucky enough to be able to make our own lantern, visit the temple and see the Lotus Lantern parade. It was a very memorable day that we couldn't have experienced anywhere but here!
