Chirripo Indigenous Village
During our time at language school, the mission associated with the school took their monthly trek into an indigenous region in Costa Rica. About 25 of us made the 6 hour hike down into the valley region, carrying wooden planks along with us. We only spent one night at the village and then hiked back out (uphill!!!). While there the guys worked on constructing a new house in the village and the girls hung out with the women and children. Such an incredible experience!
