Wisconsin River Canoe May 2008
The weather was delightful - breezy but sunny. We had a fun, relaxing paddle down the river, until Ferry Bluff, when all of a sudden the mosquitoes appeared in full force. Within minutes, both Jeff and Bruce's faces, arms, legs, and whatever bits of exposed skin were stung and swollen. The dratted mosquitoes were there at our campsite too, but thanks to sheer force of will, we managed to banish them to the back of our minds and had some fun.
