Since Catherine was leaving soon, she decided she was going to make an attempt to ask Heather about "Esta", the girl Heather had mentioned when Catherine was getting out of her box.
Heather was putting away the Bitty Baby wagon.
"Heather?" Catherine aproached her.
"ACK!!!" Heather squealed. "Don't scare me like that."
"Sorry. I just wanted to ask you something."
"oh. Uh. Well. I need to...er...I need to go." Heather stuttered.
"Oh no you don't. I'm leaving tomorrow and I want to know who Esta is. You've been dodging me all week. No more, miss Heather." Catherine said, placing her hand on Heather's shoulder.
Heather turned to look at Catherine, her brown eyes boring into Catherine's.
Her gaze was so piercing, Catherine had to step back a step.
"Alright. I think you can be trusted." Heather said. "Come with me."
"Where?" Catherine asked, suspicious.
"Just follow me." Heather took Catherine hand and pulled her out of the room.
"Hmm." Catherine said, frowning. "Maybe this was a bad idea..."
The room the girls entered was so dark, Catherine couldn't see her hand in front of her face. But Heather seemed to know where she was going, so Catherine followed her. [BTW, the next pictures are going to be pitch black. Just try to imagine Catherine and Heather in it)
"Umm..." Catherine said, nervously following Heather. "Where are we going?"
"Just follow me." Heather said. "I wouldn't do anything else." Catherine muttered.
Catherine heard a small clicking sound, like a key being inserted into a lock.
Then she heard a creaking noise, like a trunk being opened.
At the same time, a glow illuminated from beside Catherine.
"Oh my goodness" Catherine gasped. Suddenly the room was flooded with light.
"Hello there."
"ACK!" Catherine screeched. "Who...where...why...who..."
"Who am I?"
"Uh, yeah. Aren't you...uh...Heather?"
"Depends on your point of view. To you, I am Heather. But I am really Helena."
"Excuse me?"
"I am Helena. I am the leader of the Star Touched Trio."
Catherine's mouth dropped open. "I..uh...think I need to sit down." Catherine slid to the floor. [Sorry this picture is so blurry]
"I understand. Would it help if I explained everything?"
"Would it ever." Catherine muttered. "Very well." Heather...er...Helena began her story.
"Long, long ago, in the quiet village of Machille, a young girl by the name of Starlight was touched with the spark of a star. This Star Touched girl was given magical powers by the star. But then, an evil man came along. His name was Gorcheck. He wanted to take away the power of the Star from Starlight because she could keep him from his goal: taking over Machille, and making all the villagers work for him. He kidnapped Starlight, taking her to his abode in the deep, dark forest. Starlight, of course, could not give him the magical power, only the star could give him that. But he did not believe Starlight. Finally, a brave man by the name of Sir Lawrence to rescue Starlight. The Star touched him with temporary powers...enough that combined with Starlight's, they would be able to defeat Gorcheck. Starlight and Sir Lawrence married and had four children. The eldest, a girl named Cora was also touched by the Star. And now, there are only three known Star Touched descedants left. Me, Salena and...Esta."
"Wow." Catherine exclaimed. "So is this your magic trunk or something?" "In a manner of speaking. You can look in it if you'd like." Helena said.
"This is your ballgown?" Catherine asked.
"Yes. My color is pink. I prefer Hot pink, but the seamstresses chose the pale pink of the roses for me ballgown."
"And your journal?" Catherine held out the little leather book.
"Yes, and this is the Magical Scroll of the Star. It has the Code of the Stars in it."
"Can I look at it?" Catherine asked.
"I'm afraid not. Only Star touched members can read it. It wouldn't do you any good...only those with the eyes of a Star can see it." "Oh." Catherine sighed. "Is that key around your neck..."
"Yes, it is magic." Helena looked down at the key. "It will open any lock...if I need it to. For now, I just use it for my trunk and my journal."
"Oh, and another thing." Helena stood up and looked down at Catherine. "You must promise. Never. Ever. To reveal what has happened here. You would compromise the saftey of the whole Realm of the Star if you did so. Only when the trio is complete...when Esta and Salena arrive here...can our identity be revealed. When we are complete, we are safe from the Great Evil who wants the Star's power. As just one...I would be an easy target for the Great Evil."
"No one knows?" Catherine exclaimed. "Not even Host?"
Helena turned to look at the camera. "Well, YES, she knows. Obviously." Catherine giggled.
Then she raised her hand solomnly. "I, Catherine, promise never to reveal the secrets revealed to me now, until I am given permission to by the Realm of the Star." And suddenly, Catherine blinked, and...
Heather was standing there, next to a plain old steamer trunk.
"So. Did you like my great grandma's old clothes?" Heather asked. "Uh...what?" Catherine asked, perplexed. "You mean you weren't even paying attention?" Heather exclaimed?" All the 1800's clothes I just showed you?"
"Oh. Right." Catherine smiled. Was it all just a dream? Had she dozed off and dreamed the whole thing?
What do you think?
