DollTown was all dec'd out with red streamers and baloons.
And of course, a banner.
Kaya rode the horse that pulled the carriage that held the two guests of honor... (LOL that sounds sort of like the House that Jack Built)
Molly and Toast!
Felicity, Violet and Kathleen waited by the 'Thrones' (overturned baskets actually) for the special guests.
Kaya stopped the carriage right inside the big circle that the red streamers made.
She helped the guests of honor out.
The Queen, and er, Prince on their 'royal' thrones.
Kaya moved Wyakin away.
Then she sat down against the refreshment table.
"Our first order of business is a game..." Felicity said. She was the organizer.
"Bobbing for apples!"
Everyone got in line.
"You go first, Molly, since your honored guest."
Then, suddenly, poor Addy fainted!
She knocked dear Josefina into the water bowl with the apples in it. Look at Josie!
Wiping her dry.
But then Josie started crying...her eyes hurt.
So I helped her to her bedroom...
Where she lay down and went right to sleep.
Addy was also a bit wet, but she washed up quickly.
Dry-dry-dry.
Finally, Molly got to bob for apples.
She caught one too!
Toasty went next..
He caught an apple too!
Then Esther. She didn't catch anything but she had funny anyhow.
Addy went next. Because she was still a bit woozy from fainting, she didn't catch anything.
"Never mind." She said and sat down.
Violet caught one, but then she dropped it back in.
Then she went to sit down with everyone else.
Kathleen didn't catch any.
"Your turn, Kaya." Kathleen said.
"I think I'll sit this one out."
"No, you're doing it." Kathleen ordered playfully.
So, Kaya obliged, and she caught one too.
Then the apples were taken out and sat on Kaya's fur to dry.
Next was snack time.
At that time, Addy decided she felt a bit sick and went to her house to lay down.
Molly and Toast returned to their 'thrones'.
Everyone soon got something to eat. Molly got an orange, Lissie, Kaya and Esther got sweetbread, Violet and Kathleen got a sausage and Toast (the naughty thing) had pickles.
Next was a baloon toss! Everyone had a great time.
Esther sat this one out.
Toast, although the girls thought he couldn't play, was quite agile and bopped all the baloons on is head.
Soon everyone struck out but Violet, Molly and...
Toast!
Then, Molly dropped her balloon on the ground and was out.
Violet and Toast battled it out for a long while. Then...
Violet dropped her balloon!
"Beat by a dog! My land sakes." Violet said, tsking.
Everyone laughed.
Toast was the Balloon Toss Champion! (Yes, he got a medal for it too. =D)
Toast walked over to be congratulated.
Violet sat away from all the others, still a bit sore at losing to a dog.
"We're going to miss you so much." Esther siad, hugged Molly and toast.
"And it'll be even worse with Toast...he'll be never coming back!"
Toast barked softly.
"Goodbye, Molly and Toast!"
