The girls were planning a surprise party for Molly. Kathleen set up everything.
Violet arrived first.
Kathleen gave Violet a birthday crown and Vi sat down to wait for everyone else.
Adria and Nicki arrived together.
Kathleen supplied the birthday crowns.
Soon, all of the guests had arrived.
"Where is Emily?"
"She is inside trying to convince Molly to come out." Kathleen explained.
"Where are the sandwiches?" Josefina asked a little bit later.
"Right here!" Kaya appeared suddenly with a tray of sandwiches and carrots.
"Um, where's Molly?"
"Emily is still trying to convice her to come out." Violet explained.
"Wait!" Kathleen cried. "Shhh everyone, I think they are coming!"
Emily had finally been able to convince Molly to come out. Molly was rather suspicious since Emily had insisted that she wear her birthday dress.
"Come on!" Emily rushed Molly along.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted as soon as Molly appeared.
"Wow! I never expected anything like this!"
"Here is your birthday crown, Molly!" Kathleen cried. "Also, is it alright with you if we eat first?"
"Definantly!" Molly stated. "I'm starving!"
Kathleen passed out the sandwiches and carrots.
Everyone ate and enjoyed the delicious sandwiches and carrots!
Everyone got either a turkey and lettuce sandwich or a PB&J sandwich and carrots.
After being the perfect hostess, Kathleen finally sat down and had some lunch herself.
Soon, everyone was done. Kathleen cleared away the leftovers and then asked Molly, "What would you like to do next?"
"Well, what are the options?"
"We could play duck-duck-goose..."
"Ooh, that sounds fun!"
"Or Button Button, who's got the Button."
"We could also eat the cake." Nicki said, rubbing her stomach.
"Oh, Nicki. We just ate lunch. Let's wait a little bit. I'm stuffed." Emily stated.
"Let's play duck-duck-goose." Molly said. "I'm the goose!"
Molly went around the circle touching the player's heads and saying, "Duck-Duck-Duck-" and then she yelled "GOOSE!" at the top of her lungs when she came to Kaya.
Kaya jumped up as quickly as she can and dashed after Molly.
....
But Molly already got a headstart, so Kaya became the Goose. She said Goose over Violet's head.
Kaya had an easy time beating Violet...she had so many petticoats that it slowed down her running.
Violet said 'Goose' over Kathleen's head.
Kathleen easily caught Violet because poor Vi just couldn't run very fast with all her skirts.
"Let's play Button-Button who's got the button next!" Molly said. (yep- that's me behind her, hehehehe)
Emily was a very good button-hunter, she always guessed the right person.
"Let's have cake now!" Mollyc ried.
So everyone sat in a circle and Kathleen went in to get the cake.
Mmm, what delicious cake!
Chocolate Chip Cake! Yummy!
I guess everyone else thought so too. It's all gone already!
"This was a marvelous party, everyone!" Molly said.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Emily said.
"Happy Birthday, Molly!" Addy cried.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone shouted.
Molly - *Smiles*
